NorthStar Special Needs Society (NSNS) specializes in providing professional sports programs for children and youth with special needs, fostering an inclusive and safe environment. Through sports, we unlock potential, cultivate teamwork, empower individual growth, and bring the joy of movement to every child.

Our Offerings
We provide children with autism and special needs with more than ten types of sports programs, including skiing, skating, swimming, basketball, badminton, soccer, table tennis, rowing, rollerblading, and fitness training. With professional guidance and personalized support, we help promote comprehensive physical and mental development.

Our History
NorthStar Special Needs Society (NSNS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2021, dedicated to serving children with special educational needs and their families. Through diverse sports activities, NorthStar helps children enhance their physical and mental development, laying a solid foundation for their future social integration.
Among the many organizations in Ontario that provide support and services for children with autism, NorthStar is the only one that utilizes comprehensive sports therapy as an intervention method. Since its inception, NorthStar has successfully provided over 500 children with more than ten sports programs, including skiing, skating, table tennis, camping, rafting, and rowing, along with various outdoor activities.
Children participating in NorthStar’s structured training programs have shown significant improvements in language skills, attention span, communication abilities, and physical fitness. NorthStar’s specialized sports programs for children with special needs have gained widespread recognition, earning high praise from parents and making a profound social impact.
